In an effort to encourage bicycle safety for youth, the FREE rodeo will be held at North Park, 1500 S Jefferson Parkway, and starts at 9 a.m. This event is open to all kids grades K-5.
The event will include multiple stations where kids learn about bicycle safety, have their bicycle and helmets inspected for safety, and actually ride through a course where they will practice what they have learned.
The participants are required to bring a helmet, a bicycle in good working order, and wear closed toe shoes. The parents of participants are encouraged to stay during the event and learn as well.
