William Dean “Bill” McElwain, age 68 of Butler, Missouri died Friday, June 21, 2024 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Bill was born January 25, 1956 to Ellis Leroy and Virginia Fern Bitner McElwain in Butler, Missouri.
Bill is survived by his wife Sharon McElwain of Butler, Missouri; daughter Jacqueline Ellen “Jacque” Hill and husband Gary; two sons Clayton William McElwain and wife Lindsay and Dalton McElwain all of Butler, Missouri; two brothers, Glen McElwain and wife Linda of Butler, Vern McElwain and wife Barbara of Adrian; a sister Connie Eidson and husband Danny of Urich, Missouri; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents; a brother Howard McElwain and sister Carol Jean Christopher.
