Horse rescue this morning in Harrisonville

This morning, The City of Harrisonville Electric Department was called to assist a horse that was tangled in two guy wires, in a field at the south end of Oakland Street.

Staff were able to cut one of the wires and free the horse’s leg. An equine veterinarian was called to evaluate the horse, who was able to walk away with some support.
