Motorcycle accident claims the life of Cass County man

On Sunday July 14th around 3:55 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies, Pleasant Hill Fire Department and Pleasant Hill EMS responded to a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Route W and Route E just outside of Pleasant Hill.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the eastbound 2010 Honda Motorcycle driven by 72 year old Dennis L. Kimberling of Pleasant Hill, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway, ejecting the driver.

Mr. Kimberling was pronounced dead at the scene of this accident and he was transported to Forensic Medical Center. This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 52nd Fatality of the year 2024. Next of kin notified.
