Lois Jean Booth, age 86 of Amsterdam, Missouri died Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born September 13, 1937 to Bloice Andy and Dorothy Glessner Clark Nelson in Amoret, Missouri.
Lois is survived by her husband, Jimmie “Jim” Charles Booth Sr. of the home; a daughter, Tammy Cameron and husband Terry of Amsterdam, Missouri; five grandchildren, Ben Cameron and wife Lisa, Cameron Booth and wife Mackenzie, Baylen Addleman and husband Lucas, Brooklyn Powell and husband Timmy and Paige Booth; 14 great-grandchildren, Waylon, Wayde, Walker, Weston, Henry, Charlie, Chetley, Eva Jean, Huxley, Bencley, Rhettley, Violet, Bentley and Jesse; two more great-grandchildren on the way; a brother, Bloice Dean Nelson and wife Peggy of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Susie Smalley and husband Jack of Amoret, Missouri; a special nephew whom she helped raise, Derek Nelson of Amoret, Missouri; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jimmie Booth Jr.
