A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Aaron’s Family Fun Center, 17070 Aaron Ln. Belton, Missouri 64012. Military honors will be rendered for Ronald at 1:00 p.m.
Ronald was born on February 2, 1947 in Harrisonville, Missouri. Ronald honorably served his country in the United States Army and was awarded The Purple Heart during his service. In life Ronald worked as a Machinist for 55 years in the trade. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, cooking, socializing with friends, and loved his Kansas City Royals, as he held a season ticket for forty + years.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Lovell and Dorothy Horner. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty two years, Linda Horner; step-son Anthony Clark and step-grandson, Keegan Clark; two brothers, Russ Horner and Robert Horner (wife Barbara); and four of the most spoiled feline companions, Bentley, Simon, Alley, and Tiye.
