One arrested after disturbance in Hume

On 08/19/2024 Deputies responded to the Hume area for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the victim, who stated that her ex-boyfriend entered her home uninvited. 

The victim retreated to a bedroom and closed the door to get away from the suspect, however the suspect kicked in the door and assaulted her by choking her until she passed out and bit her before breaking her phones. 

When the victim regained consciousness, she and a witness on scene fled to a neighbor's home and while fleeing, the suspect then pushed the victim to the ground causing her to strike her head on concrete. The suspect was apprehended by Deputies nearby.

On 08/20/2024 a warrant was issued for Dylan Walker for
Burglary 1st degree
Domestic Assault 1st degree
Domestic assault 2nd degree
Bond was set at $50,000.00 cash only
