On 10/22/2024 at approximately 1:57pm, Butler Officers were dispatched to an address on E. Mill Street due to a male subject in the roadway attempting to flag down people.
When officers arrived on scene and observed a physical altercation taking place between Branden Quigg and another male subject.
Branden was seen on top of a male victim striking him in the face with a power tool while holding a knife in the opposite hand.
Branden also stated that he was going to kill a female victim on scene and threw a ladder at the female victim’s vehicle which broke the windshield.
Branden Quigg was transported to the Bates County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold. A warrant was later issued with the following charges:
Assault - 2nd Degree - Special Victim
Domestic Assault - 2nd Degree
Domestic Assault - 2nd Degree
Assault - 2nd Degree
Unlawful Use of Weapon
Mr. Quigg is currently in custody and was assigned a bond amount of $100,000 Cash Only.
