Xavier was nominated by his head coach Gregg Webb after his outstanding performance last Friday night. He rushed for 260 yards on 23 carries and also added in 14 tackles in the Bears win against Cole Camp.
When we asked Xavier what it takes to become an elite athlete he stated “it takes a lot of hard work and effort. You have to put in the work to get better.” We asked Xavier what it takes to be a leader on the field and he stated “you have to lead by example.” The Bears are currently 3-3 for the year and host Warsaw tonight at 7 pm in Butler for the Homecoming game. We want to wish Xavier and the Butler Bears the best of luck tonight!
