The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound1995 Ford F-150, driven by 52-year-old Russell W. Kirk of Adrian, Missouri travelled off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence and overturned, causing the driver to be ejected.
Mr. Kirk sustained serious injuries and was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by Mid America Tow of Butler.
Russell W. Kirk was cited for the following violations 1.) Driving While Intoxicated 2.) No seatbelt 3.) Failed to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a accident.
