Jennifer Zismer, 66, of Urich, Missouri, died Wednesday evening, October 30, 2024, at Truman Lake Manor, Lowry City, Mo.
She was born March 17, 1958, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Jerry L. Arnold and Maura J. (McLaughlin) Arnold. On December 15, 1994, she married Robert D. Zismer in Lee’s Summit, Mo., and he survives of the home.
After graduating from high school, Jennifer worked in accounting. She dedicated her life to Jehovah on December 10, 2010, and was baptized as a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Clinton, Mo. She enjoyed field service, witnessing and preaching the good news of Jesus, and always put the ministry first. She also enjoyed sewing and making clothes, baking (especially for others), and canning. Seeing God’s creation while she traveled was also something she enjoyed.
Jennifer loved her family and is survived by her husband, Robert Zismer; three children, Jadie Martinez, Jacksonville, Arkansas, Tammy Arnold, Wichita, Ks., and Michael Arnold, Wichita, Ks.; 2 step-children, Brent Zismer, Blue Springs, Mo., and Chrisa Harper, Peculiar, Mo., 5 grandchildren, Jorhdyn Arnold, Khayden Arnold, Dean Zismer, Emily Harper, and Carson Hedges; 2 brothers, Alan Arnold, Grain Valley, Mo., and Tom Arnold, Wichita, Ks.; 2 sisters, Cindy Pearson, Wichita, Ks., and Christina Arnold, Texas; and several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Kathy Stoneking and Laurie Strauch.
