Sharla A. Diamond, 74, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 at her home. She was born September 14, 1950 in Perryville, Missouri, a daughter of Joseph Clifford and Pansy Anne (Lappe) Tiehes. Sharla spent her early years in Perryville before moving to Harrisonville and graduating with the class of 1968.
Sharla worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Kansas City, Missouri for ten years, before working for Yellow Freight in Kansas City in the billings/collections department for thirty years until her retirement. She was united in marriage to Bill Diamond on November 17, 2001 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Sharla loved living on the farm and helping with the cattle. She was very passionate about her pets, birds, gardening and her flowers. We will miss her flamboyant personality and her love of laughter, life and her generous heart.
Sharla was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Tiehes; her mother and step-father, Pansy and John Willis; and her brother, Scott Tiehes. She is survived by her husband, Bill Diamond; step-daughter, Angelia Diamond; a brother, Mark Tiehes; two sisters, Tracey Carpenter and Tonda Brown; and a niece, Anna (Diamond) Coble, and her husband Trey, and their son, Baiden.
