Roland grew up in Stillwell, Kansas and graduated from Blue Valley High School in 1978. He loved to travel and was an accomplished musician, singer and songwriter. He owned and operated Roland’s Auto on Main Street in Warsaw for twenty-five years.
Roland is survived by his mother, Derinda Aswegan, of Warsaw, two children; Dusty Demoussett (Jeremy), of Clinton, Missouri and Samantha Pearman, of Warsaw, three grandchildren; Mercedes Baer, of Clinton, Aspen Baer, of Clinton and Nathan Baer, of Raymore, Missouri, three great grandchildren; Braxton Bauer, Salem Burton and Jackson Griffith, three sisters; Vicki Brewster (Dan), of Stillwell, Kansas, Judy Long (Bob), of St. Joseph, Missouri and Carol Belt (Kenny), of Welda, Kansas, a brother, Jerry Aswegan (Tonia), of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
