On Dec. 27th Belton Fire Department crews responded to a report of a structure fire in the area of the 800 block of N Scott.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that a wooden front porch was on fire. It was quickly extinguished with minimal damage to the residence.
No one was injured and the cause is under investigation.
