On January 13, the Bates County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 203 West Chestnut Rich Hill Mo. The Sheriff’s Office took one subject in custody for a warrant out of Vernon County. The arrest warrant was the result of a joint burglary investigation with Bates County Sheriff’s Office and Nevada Police Department where multiple firearms were stolen from a residence in Rockville and pawned in Nevada.
The Sheriff’s Office is being assisted by the Rich Hill Fire Department, Lees Summit Police Bomb Squad and the Bates County Ambulance.
