The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office and Nevada Police Department recently conducted a narcotics investigation targeting the distribution of various illegal drugs within our community after Nevada Police received credible information.
As part of this investigation, officers from both departments executed a search warrant in Milo, Missouri. During the search, law enforcement recovered over 100 grams of methamphetamine, acid, and other controlled substances, along with currency linked to the sale of illegal drugs.
Two suspects were taken into custody and are currently being held at the Vernon County Jail. They face multiple felony charges, including drug trafficking, which will be submitted to the Vernon County Prosecutor’s Office for review. Once formal charges are filed, the names of the individuals will be released.
Sheriff Buehler emphasizes that the distribution of illegal narcotics will not be tolerated in our community. The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office and Nevada Police Department remain committed to working together to eliminate the sale and distribution of illegal drugs.
