An Eastern Star service for Jack Padley of Blue Springs, Missouri formerly of Butler, Missouri will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025 with a funeral service to follow at the First Christian Church, 701 NW 15th Street, Blue Springs, Missouri. Visitation prior to services 10 - 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment with Military Honors will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 16 at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Jackie “Jack” Gene Padley, age 89 of Blue Springs, Missouri formerly of Butler, Missouri died Friday, January 10, 2025 at Cedarhurst of Blue Springs. He was born December 27, 1935 to Buford Arthur and Hazel Louise Hall Padley in Bates County, Missouri.

Jack is survived by his wife, Norma Padley of Blue Springs, Missouri; two sons, Jim Padley and wife Janice of Blackburn, Missouri and Jeff Padley and wife Michelle of Buckner, Missouri; a daughter, Janet Padley and companion Trisha of North Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Grady Short (Tabitha), Megan Leap (Brodie), Graham Padley (Amanda), Josh Padley (Emily), Elizabeth Padley, Brad Padley, Rae Padley (significant other Richard Harrington) and Geni Wier; eight great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Wade, Gabe, Kennedy, Rhett, Owen, Addi and Regan; and a brother, Bill Padley and wife Lora of Butler, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jennifer Padley on September 14, 2007; a brother, Don Padley; and two sisters, Sandra Dykeman and Rosemary Padley.
