A community in mourning: From the Drexel Mo Fire Department

On behalf of Chief Booker and the members of the Drexel Fire Department, we first want to send our love and prayers to the family of Firefighter Anthony Juarez.

We've always said we live in one of the best communities in the world. Now we know it's the absolute best in the world!
We can't thank you enough to our citizens and to everyone far and wide who have reached out to our Department as a whole, making sure we're all okay, and for all the prayers and positive thoughts! It truly means the world to us!!
Hero Juarez wasn't just a member of the Drexel Fire Department but our Brother! We all have spent countless hours over the past 9 years working beside him, all while trying to keep our community safe.
Hero Juarez was dedicated to our Fire service family, but his personal family took priority, as it should. His love for his wife Devin and their children Anthony, Justin, Eli, and Raelynn was unwavering. He couldn't have been more proud of them!
Our hearts are truly broken over the passing of Hero Juarez, but we have some peace knowing he'll be watching over us as we continue to run calls.
We ask that you keep the Juarez family as a whole and our Department in your positive thoughts and prayers as we navigate life without Hero Juarez at our side.
Hero Juarez, we'll forever miss you! Thank you for the positive light you brought us! Thank you for allowing us to become part of your family, but most of all, thank you for being you! Loving and Kind!!
Rest in Peace, Brother; we have it from here!! God Speed, Hero!!
Visitation and Funeral Service will be announced as soon as possible.
The Missouri Fire Service Funeral Assistants team is helping with the logistics of the funeral to provide Firefighter Juarez with a Heroes Funeral, as he is so deserving.
