Correction regarding Bates County Republican meeting on Thursday

Due to a misunderstanding, we incorrectly stated that the Bates County Republican meeting held on Thursday evening was for discussion of removing Jim Wheatley from office.

However, it was a regular scheduled meeting to which the public was invited. Our apologies!
