FRIDAY IS THE DAY to be Weather Aware for sure this week.
I DO NOT LIKE overly alarmist forecasting almost a week out -- so here is what I think is fair to say as of right now:
A *very* strong low-pressure system will move across the Midwest.
All the factors for all the modes of severe weather are there. By 'there,' I mean almost the entire Midwest according to this morning's data (it's March, remember).
So with the exact track of the low uncertain, it's difficult to say where the severe threats are most likely at the moment.
BUT, with this strong of a system, and so many of the "right" ingredients over such a widespread area, it's hard to imagine there NOT being some very severe weather along the path.
So, as always:
Have several ways to receive severe weather alerts
