Rich Hill and Butler fire departments were called earlier to a water rescue on B highway near O highway to assist occupants of the above vehicle reach safer ground. Throughout this afternoon there have been numerous reports of hydroplaning which resulted in several vehicles that needed to be pulled from ditches as well.
Current radar indicates more rain is inbound and we are under a Flood Warning for Bates County and surrounding areas until 10 pm.
Below, 4th street south of Haw is impassable in Rich Hill. Fire personnel are working to get a barricade put up at this time.
