Report from the Bates County Commission

April 14, 2025 The Bates County Commission met with Presiding Commissioner Jim Wheatley and Southern Commissioner Trent Nelson present. Northern Commissioner John Gray was attending MAC meetings in Jefferson City.

Jim and Trent had senior tax credit applications to review and a full day of office work.

April 16, 2025 The Bates County Commission met with Presiding Commissioner Jim Wheatley, Northern Commissioner John Gray and Southern Commissioner Trent Nelson present.

Aaron Rieder with MoDOT presented the 2024-2025 County Bridge Inspection report. The inspections were completed in December / January. Repairs and recommendations were gone through. All are operational. Conversations turned to upcoming bridge replacement and plans for needed repairs.

Appointment with Jerret Reno was rescheduled.
