Four Bears Receive All-District Honors for Work on Diamond

By Cody Morris, Tailgate TV

The Butler Lady Bears softball team is proud to recognize four outstanding athletes who have been selected to the Class 2 District 8 All-District Team. Congratulations to Brooke Miller, Taylor Hudson, Kylee Dubray, and Sydney Davis for earning this well-deserved honor.

Brooke Miller, a senior, returned to the diamond after some time off and immediately reestablished herself as a vocal leader and motivating presence for her teammates. Her passion for the game and leadership qualities set a strong example and anchored the Lady Bears throughout the season.

Taylor Hudson, a junior, was a force to be reckoned with at the plate—a consistent power threat—and a rock behind the dish as the team’s catcher. Her consistency, toughness, and game awareness made her an invaluable part of the lineup and defense.

Kylee Dubray, a sophomore, dominated from the mound and quickly became a staple in the starting lineup. Her poise under pressure and ability to command the game set her apart as one of the district’s top young talents.

Sydney Davis, a junior, shined as a defensive specialist with a knack for making big plays. She also made major strides at the plate this season, rounding out her game and proving her value on both sides of the ball.

These four Lady Bears exemplify the hard work, resilience, and competitive spirit that define Butler softball. The entire community is proud of their accomplishments and excited for what lies ahead. Way to go, Lady Bears!
