Jake Allen Melton, age 25 of Buhl, Idaho, formerly of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in Idaho.  He was born September 4, 1999 to Jason Steven and Amy Christine Rothwell Melton in Joplin, Missouri.

Jake is survived by his parents, Jason and Amy Melton of Butler, Missouri; two brothers, Brandon Melton of Springfield, Missouri and Tristin Melton of Butler, Missouri; grandfather, Dale Rothwell and wife Terri of Raymore, Missouri; and grandmother, Jane Rothwell of Chico, California.  Jake was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Glinda Melton and his uncle, Johnny Melton.
