On July 5th around 11:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the Archie RV Park located near SW Outer Rd. in regards to a medical emergency — with a man bleeding. At the same time, dispatch also got a call from a second residence in Archie where a subject said he had been in an altercation. Deputies responded there as well. The subject at that second residence said he had been in an altercation with another man in the parking lot of a local business, where he was assaulted. Deputies determined these two calls were related to the same incident and both men were taken to local hospitals, one of them in critical condition.
The following day, the man who was in critical condition succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. That person has been identified as 34-year-old Michael Wolfe of Archie.
An investigation ongoing and all subjects involved have been identified at this time.
