Cass County man arrested on child porn charge

On 06/28/25, 59-year-old Rondall Main of Peculiar was arrested in reference to an Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation by the Western Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (WMICAC).
He has since been charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography (2nd/Subsequent Offense or Possess More Than 20 Pictures/One Film Videotape).
Approximately a year ago, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a cyber tip regarding the possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
During the investigation, Main was identified as a possible suspect.
Warrants were served and further investigation led to his recent arrest.
He’s currently at the Cass County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
The Western Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children (WMICAC) Task Force is spearheaded by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and consists of personnel from agencies within Cass, Bates, Henry, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis and Saline counties. WMICAC is an affiliate of the Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (MOICAC).
