Connie had many loves throughout her life; but she married her one true love, Willard Loots, in 1987. They enjoyed traveling, golf, country club events and spending time with their many friends until his passing. She was always very involved in her church; usually in the kitchen. She was known for her cooking and baking. Her pies, homemade noodles and Christmas Cookies were always a hit! She loved her gospel music and old hymns like Amazing Grace and What a Friend We Have in Jesus. She adored her Grandkids and spoiled them rotten; especially at Christmas. Many times, the gifts would overtake the Christmas tree. You never knew what gadget you may get; she loved her QVC!
While she lived in many places over the years; including Arizona, Florida, Iowa and Missouri, she loved living in North Carolina the most. Her church and friends there held a special place in her heart.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Billy and Alan, her great grandson Owen Linder and her beloved husband, Willard.
Connie is survived by 3 children: Cathy Laizure and husband Charlie of Urich, MO, Justin Wood and wife Theresa of Aurora, Co and Cindy Reavis and husband Hugh of Yadkinville, NC. 10 grandchildren: Allie Grimes, Luke Grimes, Curtis Grimes, Morgan Linder, Landen Laizure, Chase Laizure, Seth Wood, Jamie Reavis, Brian Reavis and Kayla Driscoll, great grandkids, other relatives and friends.
The suffering is over. The rejoicing begins!
