August 27th- FIRST DAY of the 2025-2026 school year!
Ballard
Hello Ballard Families!! I hope you have enjoyed a fabulous summer with lots of family, vacations, and outdoor time. We are looking forward to the school year starting up with the teachers' first day back on August 12, 2025, and students' first day on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
School hours are the same as last year. The building opens for students to arrive at 7:40 a.m., and the first bell is at 7:50, with the tardy bell at 7:55.
There is a new state law regarding student cell phone and electronic device use during the school day that will be implemented as school starts. Students will not be allowed to use or display any electronic devices during the school day. If you wish to read the Bill, it is Senate Bill 68. The Bill will also be addressed in our student handbook for reference.
I received an email from the admission office of the US Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD. The admissions office is inviting students from middle and high school who may be interested in attending the Naval Academy to attend a forum to gain information on the admission process. If you wish to attend or want further information, please call the school at 816-297-2656 x102, and I will collect your email address and pass the information along to you, as you must RSVP. The event is to be held in St. Louis on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
If you find that you need help with something, please give us a call here at the school.
