Nevada Martial Artist receives Greatest Of All Time Award

Grandmaster of Kempo Karate Tony Collins of Nevada Missouri was among 300 of the world's greatest martial artists to receive the honor. Each recipient a Grandmaster in their respective martial art. The three day event was held at the Tanglewood Resort in Pottsboro Texas during August 14-16.

Thursday was dedicated to martial artists testing for 5th degree black belts and higher. Friday events included training sessions in multiple martial arts, and professional development.
Saturday events started with advanced techniques, leadership strategies, and Martial Arts Philosophies. The event concluded with a reception, photography, banquet, and awards ceremony.

As Tony Collins accepted his award he credited God for all of his skill and success in the martial arts.

Tony Collins has studied Kenpo Karate for 46 years. He has won numerous tournaments. And he is the Grandmaster over 140+ martial art dojos across the United States and is expanding to other countries. 

In 2015 Tony Collins was honored as an inductee into the Master's Hall of located in Moreno Valley, California. Where he had minor altercation with UFC Champion Chuck Liddell. Collins has been teaching women's self defense courses for 30 years. Emphasizing environmental awareness, simple techniques, and quick getaways.

Tony offers specialized training in the use of and defense against weapons. (knives, swords, nunchaku (nun chucks), bow staff, escrema sticks, and firearms.) He also also offers courses specialized for professionals such as military, law enforcement, emergency personnel (EMS/Fire), & all health care providers.

Under certain circumstances like domestic abuse and bullying Tony has waived student tutoring costs. If you or a loved one is in a situation where you need education but can't afford classes please reach out.

Tony Collins trains students locally in the Osage Prarie YMCA Saturday mornings at 10AM. For those not currently YMCA members he can make other arrangements, including groups, family sessions, or private lessons.
