“Hand Up” casseroles will be put together for individuals or families that are worried about the present status of the government shutdown. We are cooking for the county; we will serve as many as we can.
We can not change the world for our neighbors, but we can share some love with each other. The county has come together to donate goods and money to help each other out.
We will start putting casseroles together at 10 AM and will start handing them out at 1PM. If you are in need or know of someone in need, please come get a homemade casserole. If you need assistance in getting the food to you, please let us know.
This is new territory for us, so we are just “winging” this!
