Nothing severe, just rain

 

With no severe weather -- even lightning and thunder will be hard to come by -- this prolonged period rainfall is mostly beneficial.

Some places south & west of our area could receive over 3" of rainfall, but the preceding dry conditions combined with the fact it's a slow progression of rainfall should limit flooding concerns.

I just wanted to put up the drought monitor before we forget. . . . . that most of the region is 'abnormally dry' to a few pockets of severe & extreme drought.
