Alice May Bogue, 72, of Butler, Mo. deparated this life on October 10, 2025. Alice May was born on April 23, 1953 in Albuquerque, NM to Richard and Mishie Wigger.Alice May, who was known to many as Aunt May or May, spent the majority of her youth in Butler, MO where she lived until she got married. She was a joy and loved by so many people she met over her life. May enjoyed a number of hobbies over the years. She always had a love of the magic and beauty of unicorns and collected an array of unicorn trinkets, statues and pictures. May was a beloved "Avon Lady" for near 2 decades. One of her favorite things to do was to spend time with family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews. She made so many life long friends along her life journey but her dearest friend whom she considered as close to a sister as possible without being one was Jill Call with whom she had many adventures over the years. She enjoyed reading a good book, fishing, canoeing, and a day at the creek with family and friends. In her later years she enjoyed time with her church family at Calvary Baptist in Butler, Mo. And babysitting for her great nephew Raedayen Cowger. She will be missed by all who knew her.
May was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mishie Wigger, brother-in-law Ray Clinton and nephews Christopher Hohmann and Relinx Clinton.
May is survived by 3 sister, Clara Hohmann and husband Russel of Ogden, UT, Richie Minks of Holts Summit, MO, and Audrey Clinton of Southwest City, Mo.; 4 nieces and 2 nephews, Brian Hohmann and wife Sandra of Ogden, UT, Richard Miller of Southwest City, MO, Carrie Lewberg and husband Paul of Canada, Maurischia Cowger of Southwest City, Renae Belcher and husband Max of Clinton, MO, and Regenia Savallisch and husband Matt of Holts Summit, MO. As well as a multitude of Great and Great Great nieces and nephew and may dear friends.
May will be remembered at a celebration of life ceremony on October 18, 2025 at 11:00am at Calvary Baptist Church, 406 E Dakota St., Butler, MO.
