Entertaining weekend ahead at the Bates County Museum

Greg Marino, producer of the Levity Players Group, a professional theater group that performs throughout Kansas and Missouri, is proud to announce that his company will be appearing at the Bates County Museum in Butler, Mo. on Saturday November 22nd. The title of the show is "A Thanksgiving Celebration, Almost, or Who Killed Thomas Turkay?"

Thomas Turkay, an impresario, producer, and agent, is hosting his annual traditional Thanksgiving supper for his clients who have nowhere else to go.  Amidst the holiday frivolity and celebration, Thomas Turkay exits stage left.

Seating for the show is at 6 o'clock, the show will begin at 7 o'clock. Please call the Bates County Museum at 660-679-0134 to purchase tickets. Prices are $60.00 with wine (two glasses) and $50.00 without wine.

Dinner includes a starter: Chef’s Selection of cold and hot appetizers

Salad Course:  Caesar Salad and fresh bread 

Main Course:  Stuffed pork tenderloin with garlic mashed potatoes and balsamic Brussels sprouts or  Beef bourguignon with garlic mashed potatoes 

Dessert Course: Cookie butter cheesecake bars  

Tea, water, and coffee will be provided.

Luna Umbra will provide wine and be on site for extra wine sales.
