Bates County Memorial Hospital recognized three outstanding employees during its annual Employee Recognition Party on Friday, December 5.
Leader of the Year – Ann Donnohue, RN
Ann Donnohue, Outpatient Clinic Manager, received Leader of the Year for her collaborative, relationship-focused leadership and her commitment to strengthening outpatient clinic operations. She is known for her clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and steady support of staff well-being. Ann works closely with multiple departments to improve patient flow, streamline processes, and help the organization operate more effectively.
Employee of the Year – Elisabeth McCord, MSW
Elisabeth McCord, a social worker in Case Management, was named Employee of the Year. Elisabeth provides dedicated support to patients and families across inpatient, outpatient, and oncology services. Her ability to guide patients through challenging situations and her consistent teamwork make her an invaluable member of the BCMH care team.
Suggestion of the Year – Michele Todd
The Suggestion of the Year award was presented to Michele Todd, Registration Clerk for Rehab Services, for proposing a change to the referrals process that significantly reduced printing costs and improved workflow efficiency.
Bates County Memorial Hospital congratulates each of these exemplary employees and extends appreciation for their ongoing contributions to patient care and hospital operations.
