On December 17, deputies with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office conducted sex offender compliance checks and focused patrols throughout Henry County as part of our ongoing proactive enforcement efforts.
During the operation, deputies conducted numerous traffic stops, vehicle searches, and searches of residences while working to identify and address criminal activity. These efforts are designed to prevent crime, increase accountability, and maintain a visible law enforcement presence across the county.
As a result of the operation, five arrests were made. Two of those arrests were for failure to register as a sex offender, and three were related to outstanding warrants.
This type of proactive work is not limited to a single day. These checks and patrols take place year-round and are a key part of how we work to keep Henry County safe.
We want to thank the deputies and staff involved for their continued work and dedication, and specifically recognize Detective Baker and Administrative Assistant Adamson, who oversee sex offender registration and compliance. Their attention to detail and consistent follow-through play an important role in the success of these efforts.
