The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office was made aware by Lakeland School of an email that could have been construed as a threat to a staff member. School staff reported the concern to us and we immediately took action. The results of investigation were forwarded to the Juvenile Office for review.The suspect was isolated and we have no reason to believe there was any active threat to the student body or other members of the school.
