At the start of the collegiate semester, Linda Jennings (far left) delivered scholarship checks to two of our 2025–26 recipients. Jenna Shipley is working toward a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition, and Mackenzie Davis is pursuing a doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Jenna and Mackenzie, along with Brooke Miller, were awarded $1,000 scholarships last June, with $500 distributed each semester.
Moments like this are a great reminder that applications for the 2026–27 Foundation Healthcare Scholarships will be opening soon.
To qualify, applicants must reside in Bates County, be pursuing a career in healthcare, and be accepted into an accredited healthcare program.
