BREAKING: Icy water rescue underway in western Bates county

First responders and rescue crews are in route to  1434 NW CR 9001 in western Bates County on a report of a person who has fallen through ice on a pond. Use extra caution along west 52 highway or if otherwise traveling in the area.

Mid America Live is monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.

UPDATE- The person is out of the water and is now undergoing treatment.
