Roy Stephen Vogel, age 72 of Montrose, Missouri died Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at his home. He was born November 2, 1953 to Nicholas Francis and Genevieve Trecie Goth Vogel in Clinton, Missouri.
Roy is survived by two sons, Bill Vogel and wife Sarah of Independence, Missouri and Adam Vogel and wife Llyndsey of Kingsville, Missouri; six grandchildren, Levi, Savannah, Hailey, Jack, Cash and Aurora; one brother, Roger Vogel of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; nephew, Trent Vogel; niece, Sherry Hendricks; and best friend, Melissa Attebury of Montrose, Missouri. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Melissa Vogel (August 5, 2016) and two brothers, Ken and Delbert Vogel.
