St. Clair county sheriff's office investigates child abuse report, arrests made

On December 16th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to a local medical clinic in reference to a child abuse. It was determined that the sores were from MRSA, and had gone untreated for over a year.

The Detective applied for a warrant, and on January 13, 2026, a warrant came down from the St. Clair County Courthouse charging Keisha Morgan and William Robinson with Endangering the Welfare of a Child - 1st Degree - Physical Injury - No Sexual Contact and Abuse or Neglect of a Child Under Section 568.060.5(1) - No Sexual Contact.  William was also charged with Tampering with Evidence.

On January 14th, both Keisha and William were arrested, transported to the St. Clair County Jail, and are currently being held on bonds of $25,000 cash only each.
