Head-on crash sends 2 to hospital

Around 7:30 on February 16, the Butler Fire Department and first responders were summoned to the east 52 highway overpass on I-49 on a report of a two vehicle head on collision. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a Ford F-150 driven by a 37 year old Butler woman stuck a Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 52 year old Warsaw, Mo. man. 

The female, along with a 38 year old Butler man who required extrication, were transported to area hospitals for treatment of serious injuries. According to the report, the Chevrolet driver sustained minor injuries.

It is being reported that one person fled from the scene however, additional details are unknown at this time.
