On February 6th, Miami High School Senior McCartney Downs signed her letter of intent to play basketball at McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas.
This was a special day for McCartney, as she also scored her 1000th point that same evening against the Northeast Vernon County Lady Knights.
McCartney has had an amazing career here at Miami and we're so proud to see all of her hard work pay off with this awesome opportunity to continue her academic and athletic career.
