About the 52 highway overpass closure...

Following a MoDot press release that stated the west 52 highway/I-49 overpass in Butler may be closed for up to 166 days, a lot of folks were trying to figure out how to work around it.

However, the latest email from MoDot states  "Construction is allowed 166 days (5 months+/-) for the closure per the contract, but initial scheduling is showing a closure time of approximately 3-4 weeks. A signed detour will be in place for the duration of the closure."

Let's keep our fingers crossed for good weather!
