Two records broken at Pitt State track meet on Friday
First race of the night had Toree Hiser breaking her own 2000m Steeplechase record she set just last year. Her new time is now 8:40.55, beating her time last year by over 15 seconds.
Last race of the night saw Jake Chandler beat Trent Diehl’s 36-year old record in the 200m Dash! Jake set a new time of 22.44! This is Jake’s second school record as he already owned the 400m Dash record set last year.
The season is barely two weeks old and already three new records have been set in 2026!
