One injured when motorcycle strikes deer in southwest Bates County

Just after 10 pm Sunday evening, first responders were called to the scene of an accident involving a motorcycle striking a deer on V highway just north of CR SW 2008.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 22 year old Rich Hill man sustained minor injuries and was taken to Cass County Regional Medical Center for treatment. The 2017 Honda motorcycle was totaled and removed from the scene by private party.
