Good morning. Here's my update on severe storm chances for today as we are once again in the marginal (1/5) risk area. First of all, any storms that do get together could bring hail and damaging winds. But all the overnight data suggests storms are going to have a difficult time forming mostly due to lack of available moisture. However, make sure you can get weather alerts this afternoon into the evening as warm/moist air is building into the area and may be able to overcome the dry air and send those dewpoints up. Right now - I'm thinking we won't see many storms if any. But just know - the potential is there, and we all know how fast things can change. Check back with me for updates today. -Greg@660weather
