Golden Apples Senior Club will meet at the Farmhouse Kitchen Banquet room 5:00 p.m. Thursday July16. This week's theme is hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring sides and desserts to complete the meal. As always come and join them for food, fun and fellowship.

Growing in Grace Community Center will have a back to school bash 1:00-3:00 p.m. August 8. They will have a taco bar, soft -serve ice cream and cookies, clothing giveaway, and Heather Smith will be giving haircuts from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at The Red Door. All clothing and haircuts will be free to the kids. Taco bar is free will donation to help with cost. Please come and be blessed!
Third Sunday for July (7/19) will be Family Game Night along with a large meal including smoked pork butts. There are no costs to attend (feel free to bring a side or dessert if you come). River of Life Fellowship in Rockville hosts a special Third Sunday evening meeting each month, beginning at 6:00 p.m., with a variety of events such as singspirations, special guests, banquets and meals, fellowship, and family movie night. In this, the 250th year of the independence that our first military fought and won for US, DbarJ Quilts etc, along with Marge Zink, will have at least 3 drawings for quilts this year. There will be no cost to sign up. You need to be a veteran and have a name and phone number. Archie Pier won the Flag Day quilt. There will be another drawing Veterans Day.
Rural food and farm businesses in St. Clair, Henry, and Bates Counties may be eligible for grants of up to $25,000 through the Harvest to Market grant program.
