The home at 108 W. Lee St, Butler, Missouri has been carefully decorated to honor the men and women of our military that took their life by suicide or were killed in action and the public is invited to visit this unique memorial at any time to pay their respects
This act of remembrance is a special effort by Johnny and Carrie Collett who unfortunately, lost their son, SFC Cody Collett Cosner by suicide December 10, 2023- and while wanting to honor him, wanted to honor others as well did so with this very fitting tribute.
While no one will truly understand all the circumstances surrounding a suicide, the pain for loved ones is unbearable; however, Johnny and Carrie decided turn their grief into something positive by literally turning their home into a very unique memorial.
With this, Carrie also started an online support group 'Beyond Broken M.O.M.S' (Mother's Of Military Suicide) and you'll find more information here https://www.facebook.com/carrie.c.howard
When stopping by, take a moment to visit the Fallen Soldier Table for some very important information as well.
