One person injured in accident near Adrian

On Saturday around 7:30 pm, a 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup was traveling westbound on 18 highway near route Z when it left the roadway for unknown reasons, resulting in moderate injuries for a 56 year old Archie woman.

The driver was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment; the truck was totaled and towed from the scene. 

The highway patrol was assisted by Adrian Fire Department first responders and the Bates County Sheriff's Office.

The Missouri Highway Patrol no longer provides names of accident victims due to privacy concerns.
