On September 19, 2026, deputies with the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in Nevada, Missouri.
During the execution of the search warrant, deputies located and seized suspected controlled substances, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, digital scales, packaging materials, syringes, smoking devices, and other items believed to be associated with the possession and distribution of illegal narcotics.
Four individuals were taken into custody as a result of the investigation. One of those individuals was also found to have an outstanding felony probation violation warrant from the State of Kansas.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be submitted to the Vernon County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office as the investigation continues.
Additional information, including the identities of those arrested and formal charges, may be released at a later time.
All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
